The Leavenator

Thirty-eight-year-old Joni is only good at one thing: she has an encouraging word for everyone she meets except herself. Joni doesn’t feel like her own life is going in the direction she wants it to. In one last effort to turn things around, she hires a first-time life coach named Star and ends up part of a ragtag team meant to try and save the very person who could give her a job and change her life.

My take

A feel-good comedy about self-doubt and second chances. Joni's a natural encourager to everyone but herself, so she hires a life coach and accidentally becomes part of a misfit mission. It's the kind of quirky, heartfelt story that makes you root for underdogs and believe in redemption.
