Shrek 2

A newly married ogre and princess travel to meet her royal parents, but their visit quickly becomes complicated by family tension and schemes that threaten their relationship. With help from a loyal, talkative friend and a daring new ally, they face a comic adventure about appearances, acceptance, and staying true to yourself.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like witty fairy-tale parodies, fast-moving comedy, and lovable oddball friendships; Not for you if you prefer a quieter, less reference-heavy story or found the first Shrek more irreverent.
