Shaolin Soccer

A young Shaolin follower reunites with his discouraged brothers and joins forces with a former soccer star to create an unconventional team. Blending martial arts with the sport, they pursue a chance to compete while trying to give their forgotten skills a new purpose.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like outrageous sports comedies, cartoonish martial arts, and heartfelt underdog teams; Not for you if you prefer realistic action, serious storytelling, or restrained humor like Kung Fu Hustle.
