Audience

A bright teenager comes of age amid anarchic life on a rough Manchester council estate, where a group of siblings largely raise themselves while coping with poverty, family turmoil, and their father's neglect. When a young outsider falls for the eldest sister, he becomes increasingly involved with their unconventional household.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like Brassic or Skins for rough-edged humor, complicated families, and social realism; Not for you if you prefer polished, restrained dramas or dislike explicit, chaotic subject matter.
