A terminally ill man travels to Mexico hoping an experimental cancer treatment will save his life. When he discovers the procedure is an elaborate scam targeting desperate patients, he turns the tables on those responsible through a series of brutal tests.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like grisly horror, moral games, and franchise callbacks, especially in the vein of You're Next; Not for you if graphic violence, slow buildup, or implausible twists frustrate you.
