On an isolated family farm during wartime, a young woman cares for her ailing father under her strict mother’s watch while dreaming of a glamorous life on the big screen. As her ambitions clash with isolation, temptation, and repression, her carefully contained frustrations begin to surface.

My take

You’ll like this if you prefer character-driven, slow-burn horror with bold visuals and unsettling performances; Not for you if you want a fast, frightening slasher like Midsommar or The Wicker Man.
