The Resident

A recently separated doctor moves into an appealing New York apartment with an unusually charming landlord. As unsettling incidents begin to disturb her new start, she grows increasingly convinced that someone is watching her and that the building holds dangerous secrets.

My take

You may enjoy this if you want a straightforward, claustrophobic domestic thriller with a creepy landlord; Not for you if you need originality, layered characters, or surprises like The Woman in the Window.
