On the Waterfront

A former prizefighter now works as a longshoreman under corrupt union leaders who intimidate workers and conceal violence. After a dockworker is killed, he struggles with whether to keep quiet or speak out, while growing closer to the victim’s sister and facing pressure from people close to him.
