Night at the Museum

A struggling father takes a night-watchman job at a natural history museum, only to discover that its exhibits come alive after dark. As dinosaurs, historical figures, animals and miniature warriors run wild, he must learn to manage the chaos while proving himself to his young son.

My take

You’ll probably enjoy this if you like light, effects-driven family adventures such as The Croods: A New Age; Not for you if you want deeper history, sharper comedy, or a less formulaic story.
