Mississippi Burning

Two FBI agents investigate the disappearance and murder of civil rights workers in a small Southern town where segregation, fear, and silence protect those responsible. Their sharply different approaches challenge local authorities and expose a community divided by racism and intimidation.

My take

You’ll like this if you want a tense, socially charged investigative thriller with strong performances, similar in spirit to In the Heat of the Night; Not for you if disturbing racism is difficult to watch.
