A group of mischievous yellow stars rises from struggling filmmakers to Hollywood sensations, only to lose their success when movies change. After discovering an ancient spell and unleashing a monster, they must work together to stop the growing chaos and protect the world from their cinematic misadventure.

My take

You’ll probably enjoy this if you like bright, chaotic family animation, classic movie references, and monster comedy like The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run; Not for you if repetitive slapstick quickly wears thin.
