At a budget summer camp, a playful head counselor befriends a lonely camper who struggles to fit in. Together with the other campers and counselors, they prepare for an annual competition against a wealthier rival camp, while the camper tries to bring the counselor and another counselor closer.

My take

You may enjoy this nostalgic, good-natured summer-camp comedy for its playful antics and heartfelt friendship; Not for you if you need sharp jokes, a tightly structured story, or consistently strong supporting characters.
