Marrowbone

A young man and his three younger siblings hide away in an isolated manor after fleeing a troubled past. As they struggle to remain together, a sinister presence in the house and pressure from outside gradually threaten their fragile safety.

My take

You’ll like this if you prefer atmospheric, character-focused mysteries with suspense over gore, but Not for you if you want relentless scares, frequent jump scares, or a fast-paced horror film like Evil Dead Rise.
