Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa

A group of zoo animals leaves Madagascar aboard a makeshift airplane, only to crash-land in Africa. There, they meet animals like themselves and face questions about belonging, identity, friendship, and whether life in the wild is better than the home they left behind.

My take

You’ll likely enjoy this if you want colorful family animation, broad comedy, and returning characters; Not for you if you prefer the sharper wit and freshness of the original Madagascar.
