Luther: The Fallen Sun

A disgraced detective is imprisoned after failing to stop a cyber-enabled serial killer terrorizing London. When the killer begins taunting authorities and threatening more victims, the detective escapes custody and pursues him through a dangerous, increasingly personal investigation.

My take

You’ll like this if you enjoy dark, intense crime thrillers with relentless pursuit and grisly stakes, especially The Little Things; Not for you if implausible plots and exaggerated action quickly pull you out of a story.
