Lake Placid

After a man is killed by an unknown creature, a local wildlife officer joins forces with a paleontologist to investigate a remote lake. Their search brings them into conflict with an eccentric crocodile enthusiast as they try to track down a massive predator threatening animals and people.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like lighthearted creature features with sarcastic dialogue, grisly attacks, and an adventurous tone; Not for you if you want serious horror, realistic decisions, or sustained suspense.
