An expedition leader and five companions build a traditional wooden raft and embark on a 101-day journey across the Pacific. Using historical materials and studying ocean currents, they attempt to demonstrate that ancient South Americans could have reached distant Pacific islands from the east.

You’ll enjoy this if you prefer authentic exploration, historical documentaries, and real-life danger over dramatized spectacle; Not for you if you need fast pacing, polished visuals, or extensive personal backstories.
