Inside Out

For the last thirteen years AJ has been behind bars, convicted of manslaughter for killing a man who intended to kill his best friend, Jack. Now released, AJ wants nothing more than to start a small business and live a crime-free life. Unfortunately, within hours of leaving prison, his oldest and best friend, Jack involves AJ in an accidental shooting in which a man is killed, forcing Jack to skip town.

My take

Inside Out takes you on a vibrant journey through the emotional landscape of an 11-year-old girl named Riley as she navigates the pivotal moment of moving to a new city. With Pixar's signature warmth and humor, the film explores how joy, sadness, anger, fear, and disgust work together to shape who we become. It's a deeply human story about growing up that speaks to both children and adults.
