CriticsCritics: 35

A woman is wrongly convicted after her husband disappears and is presumed dead. Years later, she suspects he may still be alive and pursues the truth while trying to reconnect with her son, evade her parole officer, and reclaim control of her life.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like accessible revenge thrillers with determined protagonists and steady tension, but it may disappoint if you need realistic legal details, subtle plotting, or frequent surprises; Not for you if formulaic stories frustrate you.
