Hot Fuzz

A highly accomplished city police officer is reassigned to a quiet British village, where routine work and an inept new partner seem to offer little excitement. When a series of grisly incidents is dismissed as accidents, the officer begins investigating and discovers that the seemingly idyllic community may be hiding something sinister.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like witty British comedy, buddy-cop stories, absurd mysteries, and exaggerated action; Not for you if you dislike graphic violence, slower openings, or distinctly British humor.
