Home Alone 2: Lost in New York

A young boy is accidentally separated from his family and finds himself alone in New York during the Christmas season. With his dad’s credit card, he checks into a hotel, explores the city, and crosses paths with two familiar burglars whose plans he’s determined to stop.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like festive family comedies, slapstick mishaps, and a resourceful kid taking on bumbling burglars; Not for you if you want a fresh sequel that moves beyond the original’s familiar formula.
