Home Alone 2: Lost in New York

A young boy accidentally travels to New York without his family and settles into a luxurious hotel using a parent’s credit card. While exploring the city, he encounters two familiar burglars planning a holiday robbery and uses his cleverness, courage, and elaborate traps to stop them.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like festive family comedies, elaborate slapstick, and nostalgic holiday adventures such as The Goonies; Not for you if repetitive sequels or exaggerated cartoon violence quickly wear thin.
