Heretic

Two young missionaries visit a secluded home hoping to discuss their faith, but their charming host draws them into a disturbing debate. When they realize leaving will not be simple, they must rely on their beliefs, instincts, and each other to navigate an increasingly dangerous psychological game.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like tense, dialogue-driven horror with dark humor and unsettling ideas, especially films such as The Black Phone; Not for you if you want constant scares or a consistently strong finale.
