Carrie, a young religious fundamentalist, is abandoned by her missionary father and has to move in with her mother, who came out of the closet and married another woman. Not only that, but they have a biological child, Tia. The story takes place over the first two days at a strange new house, as Carrie's new parents leave for a business trip, she must take care of her stepsister. As creepy occurrences lead to full blown terror, Carrie must learn to overcome her own fears and beliefs to save her little sister.

A claustrophobic supernatural thriller that pits faith against fear. Perfect for viewers seeking genuine dread wrapped around questions of identity and acceptance—where the real horror isn't just what haunts the house, but what Carrie must confront within herself.
