Flubber

An absent-minded professor races to create a revolutionary energy source that could save his struggling college and repair his relationship with his sweetheart. Just before another important wedding attempt, he discovers a bouncy green substance that makes objects fly, attracting both comic possibilities and unwanted attention.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like goofy family comedies such as Dennis the Menace or Beethoven; Not for you if you want subtle humor, polished effects, or a more developed story.
