Dracula

After losing his beloved bride in late 15th-century Eastern Europe, a prince rejects his faith and becomes an immortal vampire. Centuries later, he wanders through Europe, driven by grief and an obsessive search for the woman he believes may return to him.

My take

You may enjoy this if you prefer gothic romance, lavish period fantasy, and a sympathetic vampire over straightforward horror; Not for you if you want sustained scares, tight pacing, or the darkness of Nosferatu.
