In 17th-century Hungary, a widowed countess discovers that a grisly ritual can temporarily restore her youth. Desperate to preserve her beauty and pursue a new romance, she draws those around her into an increasingly dangerous web of secrecy and violence.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like atmospheric Hammer horror, decadent period settings, and macabre legends, but Not for you if you want fast scares, heavy gore, or a traditional vampire story like House of Dark Shadows.
