Dracula

A centuries-old vampire imprisons a young lawyer at his remote castle after becoming fascinated by a portrait of the lawyer’s fiancée. He then travels to Victorian London, where his pursuit of her intertwines gothic horror, seduction, and tragic romance.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like lavish gothic horror, heightened romance, theatrical performances, and bold visual style; Not for you if you prefer restrained scares, subtle acting, or strictly faithful adaptations.
