Downfall

As Allied forces close in on Berlin in April 1945, the German leadership refuses to accept defeat, ordering its remaining troops to keep fighting. Seen largely through the eyes of a secretary inside the city, the film follows the mounting fear, confusion, and strain as Berlin faces the collapse of the regime and the battle around it.

My take

You may appreciate this if you enjoy serious, historically grounded World War II dramas such as The Pianist; Not for you if you want an upbeat watch or a conventional action-focused war film.
