Disfigured

Lydia is a fat woman struggling to find her place in fashionable Venice Beach. Darcy, a recovering-anorexic, tries to join the Fat Acceptance Group (since she believes herself to be fat) but she is rejected. Lydia, reluctantly offers friendship.

A raw, unflinching look at friendship and self-acceptance among women navigating body image and identity in an unforgiving world. Tender and difficult at once—the kind of film that sits with you because it refuses easy answers.
