Death Wish 3

An architect returns to New York City to visit an old friend, only to find the neighborhood under siege from a ruthless street gang. After being drawn into a tense arrangement with a police chief, he takes up arms to defend the residents and fight back against the violence.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like wildly exaggerated 1980s vigilante action, relentless shootouts, and so-bad-it’s-fun energy similar to Cobra; Not for you if you prefer realism, subtle characters, or restrained violence.
