Audience

A brilliant but unconventional detective and a capable local team investigate baffling murders on a fictional Caribbean island. Each case brings a small circle of suspects, while the team’s contrasting personalities add gentle humor to the mysteries.

My take

You’ll like this if you enjoy sunny, character-driven mysteries with gentle humor, similar to Agatha Christie’s Marple; Not for you if you want gritty realism, high stakes, or consistently fresh plots.
