Cool World

A cartoonist serving time for murder is drawn into the animated world he created, where a seductive character wants to cross into reality. A human detective warns him about the dangerous rules separating people from cartoons, as the boundary between two worlds begins to break down.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like experimental, adult animation with surreal imagery and a dark, chaotic atmosphere; Not for you if you want polished visuals, clear storytelling, or a refined companion to Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
