Around the World in 80 Days

A wager sends an eccentric British inventor, a Chinese thief, and a French artist racing around the world. Along the way, their journey brings comic mishaps, martial-arts action, colorful encounters, and obstacles that test whether they can complete the trip within the demanding deadline.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like goofy family adventures, broad comedy, and martial-arts set pieces, especially in the spirit of Mr. Bean’s Holiday; Not for you if you want a faithful, serious adaptation.
