Bumblebee

In 1987, a battle-scarred robot hides in a junkyard in a small California beach town. A teenager on the verge of adulthood discovers him and brings him back to life, soon finding herself caught up in a conflict involving the unusual yellow car.

My take

You may enjoy this if you want a family-friendly, more heartfelt Transformers adventure with 1980s flavor; Not for you if you expect nonstop spectacle like Transformers or Pacific Rim.
