After losing his acting role and girlfriend, a struggling actor accepts a house-sitting job in Los Angeles. Using a telescope, he watches a woman across the way and becomes entangled in a murder mystery that draws him into the seedy adult entertainment world.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like lurid, stylish thrillers with Hitchcock-inspired mystery, erotic tension, dark humor, and outrageous set pieces; Not for you if you prefer grounded plots, subtle themes, or restrained content.
