Blue Ruin
CriticsCritics: 87
AudienceAudience: 7.2
A quiet beach drifter receives devastating news and returns to his childhood home bent on revenge. Out of his depth and poorly prepared, he soon faces the consequences of his actions and a dangerous struggle to protect his estranged family.
My takeYou may enjoy this if you like grounded revenge thrillers, a gradual build of tension, and an ordinary protagonist who struggles rather than turns into an action hero; Not for you if you want fast-paced action or a lighter mood.
