Auschwitz: Inside the Nazi State

This documentary miniseries examines the Holocaust through the history of Auschwitz-Birkenau, combining survivor and former guard interviews with archival material, documents, reenactments, and visual reconstructions. It presents the camp’s development and operation in a detailed, restrained account of one of history’s darkest chapters.

My take

You’ll like this if you want a thorough, serious Holocaust documentary built around firsthand testimony and historical detail; Not for you if you prefer lighter viewing or less distressing subject matter.
