American Girl
AudienceAudience: 6.9
A young girl from South Georgia has a heated argument with her step-father and runs away from home. She hitches a ride and is forced to survive on the mean streets of Atlanta.
My takeA contemplative indie drama that explores identity and belonging through the lens of a young woman navigating contemporary America. The film captures quiet moments of introspection with an intimate, observational style that feels both personal and universally relatable.
