Uptown Girls

After losing her inherited fortune to a trusted manager, a carefree young woman must find work as a nanny. She looks after a guarded, highly disciplined girl whose distant mother is consumed by her career, and the unlikely pair gradually help one another face responsibility, grief, and the need to grow up.

My take

You’ll like this if you enjoy heartfelt, predictable comedies about unlikely bonds and growing up, similar to The Nanny Diaries or Raising Helen; Not for you if you want originality, fast pacing, or understated emotion.
