'Allo 'Allo!

A hapless café owner in occupied France is pulled between the Resistance, German authorities, secret agents, hidden airmen, and complicated romantic entanglements. As each side demands his help, he tries to keep his business running while avoiding danger through elaborate schemes and farcical misunderstandings.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like broad British farce, recurring catchphrases, tangled schemes, and politically incorrect humor; Not for you if repetition, old-fashioned stereotypes, or wartime parody quickly wear thin.
