In 1943 Malmö, a curious 15-year-old student becomes involved with his married teacher, who sees their connection as an escape from an unhappy home life. My take

You may appreciate this thoughtful, emotionally challenging coming-of-age drama if you value complex relationships and Scandinavian storytelling; Not for you if teacher-student abuse, sexual content, or slow pacing are deal-breakers.
