A Nightmare on Elm Street

A group of teenagers begin sharing terrifying dreams about a disfigured killer armed with razor-sharp blades. When their nightmares start causing real-world deaths, they realize sleep offers no escape and must uncover the truth behind their connection while fighting to stay awake.

My take

You may enjoy this darker, more serious slasher if you like supernatural horror and tense dream sequences; Not for you if you want the playful energy or originality of Silent Hill or the earlier Elm Street films.
