Slashed Dreams

A pair of college students go on a trip up to the mountains to look for a friend who dropped out of school. Along the way, the couple is warned of dangerous terrain and unfriendly local residents. The trip becomes a nightmare when 2 men stalk and attack the couple with gruesome consequences. The film stars Robert Englund in the role of the lost friend before he become a household name as the terrifying boogeyman Freddy Krueger.

My take

A relentless descent into terror as a couple's mountain rescue mission turns into a fight for survival. Raw, visceral, and genuinely unsettling—this is the kind of horror that gets under your skin and doesn't let go.
