Slashed Dreams

A pair of college students go on a trip up to the mountains to look for a friend who dropped out of school. Along the way, the couple is warned of dangerous terrain and unfriendly local residents. The trip becomes a nightmare when 2 men stalk and attack the couple with gruesome consequences. The film stars Robert Englund in the role of the lost friend before he become a household name as the terrifying boogeyman Freddy Krueger.

My take

A tense, paranoia-fueled mountain horror that traps you in genuine dread. Raw 70s terror with relentless stalking and violence—for those who want their horror primal and unsettling, not polished.
