A Haunting in Venice

A retired detective reluctantly attends a Halloween séance in a decaying Venetian palazzo said to be haunted. When a guest is murdered, he must investigate a gathering of troubled suspects while confronting an unsettling mystery that blurs the line between supernatural fear and human deception.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like atmospheric locked-room mysteries with supernatural touches, Gothic tension, and classic whodunits such as Crooked House; Not for you if you want fast pacing, genuinely frightening horror, or straightforward Christie adaptations.
