Yuma

Marshall Harmon is sent to Yuma to bring order. He kills a man, the brother of a powerful outlaw, Arch King. Someone breaks into the jail and shoots the other man with Harmon's gun. A young boy witnessed the murder. Harmon is visited by King and told that unless he can prove he didn't kill his brother, King will be back for his own justice. Harmon rides to the nearby army fort to find the soldier who killed his prisoner, but the visit doesn't go well.

My take

A taut western standoff where a marshal's reputation hangs on proving his innocence against a powerful enemy's vengeance. Gritty, suspenseful, and built on the slow burn of mounting pressure and moral ambiguity.
