XO, Kitty

A teen romance follows a young matchmaker who thinks she understands love, then heads overseas to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend. Once there, she finds that friendship, attraction, and growing up are far more complicated than she expected, especially when new feelings and old promises start to clash.

My take

You may like XO, Kitty if you enjoy light teen romance, messy friendships, and a breezy coming-of-age tone; Not for you if you want slow-burn realism or a tightly focused story, and fans of Never Have I Ever or Heartstopper may find a familiar feel.
