When her mother suffers a heart attack,successful New York writer Stephanie Golden sets aside her job and fiancé to return to her hometown in Kansas. A raw, intimate portrait of family fracture and the slim hope of recovery. When a woman returns home to face her sister's addiction, what unfolds is a tense meditation on whether love is enough to save someone from themselves.
