Walking Tall

A former U.S. soldier returns to his hometown and finds crime, gambling, and corruption controlling the community. After seeing the damage caused by those in power, he takes a direct approach to restoring order and standing up for the people around him.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you want a short, straightforward action movie with a likable tough hero and old-fashioned justice; Not for you if you prefer nuanced characters, realistic plotting, or surprises.
