A grieving marine scientist discovers that a giant shark has entered the Seine just before a major swimming event. With the threat dismissed by officials, she joins forces with river police and environmental activists to prevent a deadly disaster in Paris.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like over-the-top creature features, absurd disaster scenarios, and chaotic fun in the vein of Deep Blue Sea; Not for you if you need realism, subtle characters, or consistently serious tension.
