¡Three Amigos!

Three unemployed silent-film actors travel to a small Mexican village after being mistaken for genuine heroes. Expecting a simple performance, they discover the villagers need protection from a dangerous bandit, forcing the bumbling trio to face a real threat far beyond anything they have acted out.

My take

You’ll likely enjoy this if you prefer silly, good-natured comedies with memorable characters and old-school charm; Not for you if you want nonstop laughs, a brisk pace, or consistently subtle humor.
